Origins and Destinations
I was born Nicholas James Simcock in Stoke on Trent, England in 1971 where I lived until 1999. I then moved to Manchester where I met my Italian wife. In 2002 we moved to her home town of Belluno in North Italy where we currently live and work.

Radio Presenter
After moving to Italy in 2002 a fortuitous meeting with the boss of Radio Belluno meant that I was soon developing my skills as a Radio Presenter. I am currently live every weekday afternoon with music, chat and interviews. The English Lesson in which I translate the lyrics of famous English/American songs is a great success.

TV Presenter
I produced and presented a weekly programme on the local television station Tele Belluno
I am currently working as a presenter for the Web TV www.fuoriTV.it.
I have also presented various live events.

Translation and Voice Over
I have completed various translations and voice over projects in Italy and have given English coaching to Italian recording artists at a local, national and international level, such as the producer-singer-songwriter Fabio Trentini - www.myspace.com/moonboundmusic

Sound and Music
Born from a passion for music, I studied sound engineering at The School of Sound Recording in Manchester, England. Working as a sound and lighting technician for theatre and conference venues led to full time employment at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, where I ultimately held the position of Deputy Technical Manager.

Webdesign
In England I worked for five years as a Graphic Designer at an Advertising Agency. Since 2003 I have been working as a web designer using HTML and CSS and more recently PHP. I am the webmaster of: radiobelluno.it  bellunocentro.it  scoppiospettacoli.it
